Brett got invited to the Avocado Grove Tour with West Pak Avocado through his 9-5 job out in California in August of 2018. On this tour he had the chance to walk through an avocado grove, and tour the packaging facility learning a ton about avocados (how they are grown, the struggles they face, shipping etc). Long story short, he ended up sitting next to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, Doug Meyer. During the tour they got to chatting and we ended up working together to create custom end grain cutting boards for their top customers using their logo. We used walnut as the base and their logo is inlaid with maple and yellowheart. The video below shows the process of how the boards were made. Enjoy!
